My grooming method utilizes the use of a smaller version of the Anivac animal bathing system that is very popular with larger animals. It is also used in veterinary clinics to prep animals prior to surgery. This system cleans from the skin up and ensures a thorough bathing while being gentle to your dog's skin. I thought long and hard about offering this non-traditional type of grooming before I decided to use this method on clients' dogs, but I have used it for the past 3 years on my own dogs (and horses!) and they always have beautiful coats! I am confident you will love the process!

This system is also wonderful for dogs that don't like tub bathing, or for elderly dogs that can't handle a longer drawn-out traditional grooming appointment standing on the table. I teach dogs to lay down comfortably through the main part of the grooming process. The best part? NO MESS!During the grooming process, all brushed and clipped hair, deep cleaning and clear rinse is contained in my machines, with lower noise than a household vacuum. You will be surprised to see the dirt and dander come through the machine and see the final clear rinse! Your dog is not soaking wet, just damp. Heated towels and a low velocity dryer for drying. Most clients can stay with their dog during the process! This system usually takes anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour depending on the size of your dog and the length and condition of the coat. If it takes longer, I will keep your dog for extra dematting and deshedding, and you can pick up later. Again, I practice low stress which means everything is done slowly and your dog is the only dog to stay for grooming for the day and is given plenty of rest between sessions.
